By the end of the week
Railroads and
“HUGE” construction sites
had popped up all over the place!
When asked I was told he was building
Hospitals.
Friday evening after their wagon rides there was time for play on the swing set before dinner…
Michael came running in with his little hand out stretched,
while sporting a big grin he exclaimed
“I brought you the perfect flower!”
The next morning we were going to meet Mommy & Baba half way in between Virginia and Georgia for lunch and the delivery of a most important package!
As we ran about preparing to disembark Michael put in his breakfast order…
Bacon with Eggs,
Biscuits and gravey
AND
GRITS!
Oh, how it broke my heart to have to explain we were eating drive thru breakfast on a croissant from Burger Doodle!
Just before we left we took one last look at Gamma’s perfect flowers as Michael exclaimed
“I made your day!”
Yes Sweetheart,
you made my week!
A four hour truck ride and our precious little package was delivered!
With “HUGE” grins, neck hugs,
giggles and kisses
Our big boy was back with his Mommy & Baba once again!

p.s. and with that Papa and I slept in the next day!
